This is a beautiful Dendritic Girasol Quartz point with lovely clarity. This particular point contains lovely dendritic patterns which are formed by manganese oxides on the surface of rocks in veins.
Girasol is a clear, milky white, or extremely pale pink variety of quartz. The word comes from the Italian girasole, meaning “turn towards the Sun”. It originally referred to a milky blue glass first produced in Venice during the Renaissance.
Girasol is also known as Foggy Quartz, Pearl Quartz, Moon Opal, Blue Opal Quartz, and Moon Quartz.
